Point of Existence wins Moddb.com Mods of 2006

moddb.com recently posted the results of their Mods of 2006 competition with a couple of fantastic Battlefield 2 mods taking first and second place.

Top honours went to Point of Existence [www.pointofexistence.com], an impressive mod focusing on a fictional conflict between the Ukraine and German forces. While the conflict is fictional the weapons are anything but, with realistic tanks and weaponry that are both balanced and great fun to play with.

Project Reality [www.realitymod.com] scored silver as a reward for it’s heavily realistic reflection of modern warfare. It offers new classes, weapons, realistic ballistics, alterations to existing armies and equipment, night vision and plenty besides.

Both are fantastic examples of the top work the Battlefield 2 mod community is doing and it’s great to see them rewarded for all their effort. We wish both teams, and indeed the whole Battlefield mod community, every success in the future.
